Offer

Hi everyone. I am expecting an offer to come through from one of the multinationals in Qatar. With housing and electricity and water taken care of, I will be getting approx. 19000 riyals per month for everything else. I am a single female with no dependants. Will this be enough to have a good lifestyle? Compared to my after tax salary in Australia, it is about the same. Cheers, Brooke

Qatar is very boring and dead country.Since you are enjoying same salary in Australia then why you want to come.

i dont see we have a freedom constraint here....i see many westners to roam around qatar with their casual wear. Enough night clubs...bars...are available.

Its a pretty decent salary. Cost of living in Qatar is high only for house rent...for which your company is giving the required accommodation. rest all is cheap here when compare to your country...thus...i would suggest you to move ahead. welcome to qatar...:)

it'w not worth it.... you won't have the same freedom as you are in Australia...

Hmmm.. Good salary ! But since it's the same you are getting in Australia, I am surprised you still want to come here.

Ask for a 15-25% hike.
