Ingredient Shopping

Hi - I am new to Doha and was hoping to get some advice on where to shop for certain ingredients. I enjoy cooking curries and other Asian dishes; I went shopping today at the Carrefour at City Centre and came up short on a few items. Specifically I wasn't able to find Tamarind paste, Shrimp paste or Galangal. Can anyone recommend some stores where I might be able to find these ingredients - preferrably in West Bay as that is where I am based and don't yet hace a car.

You can try Family Food Centre at Airport Road as well....

Lulu & Safari mall are flooded with Asian based products for your choice.

Most of them are available in local groceries too, pls try.
