HI All.. I am in qatar from 4 years. I have got a better offer from a small company to a big company. I have paid good amount for NOC (25K QAR) and KAFALA Change has been initiated. I have got the clearance from Labour on 15th, Oct,2014. And Change visa was about to submit at the immigration on 27th,Oct. But Immigration department has not accepted due the reason that my change of visa in Labour Department has been blocked. I was wondering and checked with Labour, they have only taken few other dcouments regarding my old company and rejected the application again. They asked me to come to Qatar through New Visa. I have been asking for the reason on what happened, and no one was able to explain or give me a reason why my visa is blocked. I have requested them later seriously asked but no result. I am completely frustrated with their behaviour, after all i am poor applicant asking for a reason, so that i can correct the application or any missing document. But people at labour were not at all cooperating. And my mandoop ( he is another idiot), is not explaining me the reason as well. He is speaking to Labour department in arabic and not explaining me anything. I have paid around 25000 QAR for my noc, dont i have a right to the reason behind my blockage?!! now i am being asked to leave the country and come on NEW visa ( i have spent too much money already) i am sure flight charges and more delay would scatter my savings completely. Can somebody explain what is the reason behind this mystery..

Hi Amarnandh,

I have same situation right now.

I already left Qatar to acquire New Visa.

How long did it take to have your new Visa after you exit Qatar?

The PRO of my New Company told me that my documents was already in the Labor Department.

I also seen your previous comments the required documents.

It just bothers me coz I provided only one NOC from my previous sponsor..

Hope for your thoughts on this..

Thank you

just exit and return. lucky you, because you have a chance to pay for NOC... others have no choice...

ask for your new employer to process your new visa after exiting Qatar, and return with with a new life and new job.

thanks da_ruru, but we would be happy if goverment or Labour depart explains that to us. What i had been looking for is reason. So, that i will do that again and will advise my friends who are going for a kafala change.

@noor Services : Thanks for your feedback. I had to pay the money, i was left with either Leaving the job and wait for 2 years or giving money. Obv, i have chosen the later.

But any way, i have one more question. Wouldnt that be a problem if i try to come on new visa? I am suspecting, i might face some other issue while processing for new visa? Please advise

It could be that your nationality does not match the position that is allowed by Immigration for the issuance of that type of visa.

You should not pay firstly for obtaining an noc. And if you had to pay you should wait for the transfer to complete.

Block visa has no solution and you have to exit and come on new visa

Many cases are there of visa restrictions but you cannot blame the pro or company it is from the government.
