Hello Friends, I need your valuable advise. My wife is under my sponsorship having a Resident Permit and presently staying with me in Qatar. She is 2 months pregnant now and we are planning to do the delivery process in India. I want to know the following please: 1) In which month of pregnancy will she be allowed to travel by flight? 2) Will we require any document from doctor to show at the Qatar airport? 3) How many months she can stay out of Qatar? 4) What documents will be required to bring the new born baby to Qatar 5) What documents will be required to get Residence Permit for the new born baby Your detail guidance is requested. To my knowledge, she should travel before the onset of the seventh month but you can confirm this from travel agents or airlines flying to India. That's how it was when my wife was travelling several years back and she was pregnant. Regarding documents from the doctor, I believe they are not required at the airport and this can be confirmed by the airline people also. However, I suggest she carry a report from her doctor to allow for the doctors to continue with her progress in your country. As for the new born child's arrival and RP, from what I learnt at QL the visa for the child is issued at the airport as long as he is not over two months old (or may be three months, I am not sure) which must be supported by a birth certificate. Please check on this with the mandoob of your company.
