Traffic diversion at Umm Ethnaitain interchange

As part of the North Road enhancement project, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the Umm Ethnaitain interchange exit heading north on Al Shamal Road, leading to the army camp.

The closure will start on October 19 and continue for two months, until December 18.

During this period, traffic will be diverted at the interchange and drivers coming from Doha and heading towards the north (army camp) will need to reach the Al Zubara interchange and make a U-turn before going right towards the army camp.

Drivers leaving the army camp and wanting to head north should continue to the Al Ghesen interchange and then make a U-turn as shown on the attached map.

This diversion is being implemented to allow for the construction of a two-lane service road in the eastern part of Al Shamal Road.
