Partial closure of Al Shamal Road
As part of the implementation of the North Road enhancements project, the Public Works Authority announces that it will partially close about 250 meters on the southbound (From North to Doha) carriageways of North Road (Al Shamal Road).
The closure will last for two days from the 9th to 10th of October 2014, where three lanes will be closed and one lane will remain open to traffic.
The closure is located in the vicinity of Izghawa interchange at the KM 4 (in front of the North Gate Mall).
Road users can use the alternative roads shown on the map attached to avoid the closure as follows: drivers coming from Al Shamal heading towards Doha at Al Kharaitiyat interchange, can turn left to al Ebb Street, then take the right to the street known as (Arab League Street) or turn right at Al Kharaitiyat interchange then left to Zekreet Street.
