Information on Family visit visa

Dear Friends.

My wife is here in qatar on a 6 months visit visa.

I approached to MOI and request for a month extension further (i.e for 7th month), but the officer replied that i can reapply for visit as soon as my wife exits from qatar.... No need to wait for 3 months..

Is this True???

Anybody have a similar experience

if you have matrash2 in your mobile you can do it easily, select issue return visit visa under visa section.
