UAE - visa on arrival question
By ivan.matrix •
Hi, i am not sure if this has been discussed before, i tried searching the forum but i couldnt find an answer. I'm in Doha and I am planning to visit my cousin in UAE this coming October for the EID holidays. I work for Hamad General Hospital and the profession on my visa is "Nurse", i have been under Hamad's sponsorship for over a year now and have no issues on passport or visa expiry dates. will i be able to get visa on arrival when i land in UAE? Anyone who can share previous experience is much appreciated.
Yup, you can get Visa on Arrival...
for reference purpose, you can check the below link which is for Qatar but applies for Dubai also:

I second Balckbird. Recently travelled to Dubai, I spent 7 months in Doha before flying to Dubai for a week. As long as you have spend 6+ months, your passport is valid for 6 months and your profession is in the approved list, you should have no issues. Best if to check with the airlines
Dear , based on your profession on the visa and the period you have already spent in Qatar , i can assure you that you are eligible for the ( visa upon arrival within the GCC ) , your profession is on the approved profession list No(Nurse-173) , yet still you can check with the airline you are going to fly with
wish you enjoy your trip..
