Truck ban in Doha City during peak hours

The Ministry of Interior is doing all it can to reduce traffic congestion in Doha during peak hours. Heavy vehicles like trailers and trucks are not allowed to enter the city during the following time intervals:

6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. - This is when roads are busy due to school operations and ministry and office hours.

12 noon - 3:00 p.m. - Schools disperse and some leave work during this time.

5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Most people get done with work during this interval. Doha streets get busy as people get out for evening activities.
