Hi all. I heard that you must have at least six weeks remaining on your RP in order to be allowed back into Qatar after a trip abroad. Is this true or can we get back into Qatar so long as it's not expired?
Thanks guys. This bodes well. My passport has two years left but my RP only six weeks and I've booked a holiday for Eid. I would renew it but apparently I need my ID card for that and that was lost in the post two weeks ago... I've still got the main RP in my passport though!
Not exactly, this is valid for passports in some cases. I just travelled to Pakistan and back, with passport validity of 2 months and family RP validity of 2 months. No issues at all anywhere.

No not required. You can come even 1 day before the RP Expiry. Mr relative has did this bringing his family at the last day before RP expiry.
