Medical Commission Exam for Family Visit Visa Extention

Dear QL,

My wife and 3 month old baby are coming this week (yay!) on a Family visit visa. I plan to take them to the Medical Commission in Abu Hamour very early on Thursday morning for the exam so that I can extend their visit visas. I have a few questions.

1. Do I need to bring a form with me that is already filled in? A co-worker mentioned this to me and I have searched all over QL and the internet and I didn't find any answers. All I know is that she has to take her passport and entry visa. Does she need to take pictures?

2. I know my baby doesn't have to go through the medical check, but is there anything I need to get from the medical commission that I will need for applying for the baby's visit visa extension? Does the baby need pictures too?

3. I read online that Al Ahli and Al Emadi hospitals do the medical commission exam for family visit visa extension. Is this confirmed true? Also, does anyone know how much do they charage? (If it is not much more, I'd be happy to avoid the crowd at Abu Hamour :) ).

Thanks in advance for all replies and best regards,

Yahya

1. can be done within in 1 month but don't make it in the neck of the period. 2. For Gents & Ladies they have a separate entrance and it wont take more time, if they are aged, they give the preference to move fast. 3. take your parent's original passport + copy + visa copy + ATM / CREDIT Card for fee + your passport & QID. there is no specific form for visit visa extension purpose.

Dear,

you can go after 15 days of arrival,u should carry original passports of both, visa copy, your RP copy and debit card of you.my suggestion is you can go in the afternoon 12.00 - 2.00 pm and anyhow ladies section is free it will take hardly 20 mins, while entering take right and go straight in the left side u can find entrance then show your carried documents security to allow your wife not kid,for kids only passport needs and 100/- Qr will be deduct from your debit card, medical will be done for your wife, after two working days u can check in the medical commission website you will find the result that's it.

For my case someone said for my kid no need medical, that is OK but i am not carried his passport then i comeback to my home then went medical commission to twice. all the best.

Dear you do not need to go early morning. For family evening also available till 6 or 7 p.m

also note that you dont need to go the next day when they arrived you should have medical within 30 days. For kind u ll have to pay 100 QR only and they will give printed slip with MC number and its enough to get visa extended.
