Look out for Harvest Moon in Qatar tonight

People in Qatar will witness a brighter night due to Harvest Moon, experts said, adding many will even be able to work tonight.
The night of September 8-9 will have a beautiful bright full-looking moon, as seen from around the globe. Due to Harvest Moon, Monday night will be extra bright.
The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, and depending on the year, can occur anywhere from two weeks before to two weeks after the autumnal equinox.
The 2014 autumnal equinox comes on September 23, so the September 8-9 full moon counts as the Northern Hemisphere’s Harvest Moon.
This year’s Harvest Moon qualifies as a supermoon because it turns full less than one day after reaching lunar perigee, the moon’s closest point to earth for the month.
