No cases of Ebola yet at HIA
No cases of Ebola virus has been detected at the Hamad International Airport until now, a senior official of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has said.
Dr Mohammed Al Thani, Director of the Public Health Department at SCH, also confirmed that Qatar had stopped issuing entry visas to people coming from Ebola-affected countries.
Al Thani said that the thermal cameras installed at the Hamad International Airport has not registered any case of the Ebola virus until now, Al Sharq reports.
He added that in cooperation of the Ministry of Interior, issuance of entry visas to people from Ebola affected countries have been put on hold for some time now because of the health situation there.
