By Qatar Living •
The Beaches and Islands Section of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP) removed a dead Dolphin found in Wakra beach.
The Section’s personnel also cleaned up the beach of Ras Abu Fantas of diverse waste such as empty cans, plastic bags and timber.
The Section appealed to people who frequent beaches and islands not to litter beaches with waste that harm the marine environment and distort the public scene.
The MMUP has conducted an intensive cleaning campaign at different beaches of the country. The campaign, which started in July, covered Al Wakra Port, Shammal, Al Salfiya Island, Cornich, Marriott beach and Abu Fontas beach.

I'm sure something else could be done with the waste salt. Like selling it to country that have snow and ice on the roads. It's a shame these wonderful creatures have to die.
