I invited my wife on a visit visa last year June and allong the line she got pregnant. I was able to do her extension until she gave birth. Two months after she gave birth, i went to immigration Gharafa to extend her visa which has 10 days before expiering but my wife's passport was siezed and we were told to go to CID. When i got to the CID, they told my wife that she has to go back to Nigeria but fortunately she got a visa  and we told the police but they said she has to exit the country and enter back when the visa is ready but has to go with the baby but the baby cant enter Dubai which we had in mind because he dint have passport so the only option is to go back to Nigeria and all the process lasted more than a month after they siezed her passport though they gave it back to her inbetween to do some processing. I asked the police about the money that would have accumulated as we were not allowed to do her extension and they said i shouldn't worry about the money that it will be cleared and truly when the police met us at the airport on their departure, it was no issue. My worries are that hope if her visa will be approved and that she wont have any issues with her passport and be allowed back into Qatar acording to the police anytime her visa is ready she can come back and hope as they cleared the money, hope its no issue.
