Katara displays solar system

DOHA: The Solar System Exhibition, one of the highlights of Katara Ramadan Festival this year, opened yesterday at Katara Building 18.

Since it launched the festival on Thursday, Katara has witnessed many visitors coming to expos and lectures and participating in competitions and other activities under the theme ‘Katara Bridging Quran and Astronomy.’

It provides visitors with real life experience of the solar system and intensive information about the planets, including their size, location and proportion.
