Portugal vs Ghana: Can Cristiano Ronaldo do it?

Portugal's fate depends on tonight's game against the high-flying Ghanian national team. The Black Stars may not have a 'World Player of Year' among them, but they boast the presence of talented players like Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng.

Portugal, of course, have Cristiano Ronaldo. That's about it. The two time Ballon D'or winner, however, failed to replicate his club form for his national team. With Pepe coming back from his suspension, Portugal should have a reinforced defensive line-up than the one it featured against USA.

But the million dollar question is, will Ronaldo prove his worth tonight? Injuries have clearly affected the superstars performance so far, but we know the extend of the damage he could inflict if he's given the space and opportunity.

Portugal will be praying for Germany to win against USA. Even a draw in that fixture will see Portugal out of the tournament.
