Bros..., dont worry so much about his life, he is not new in Gulf. he worked in Oman and he has confident about his life style.

Actually he asked mainly about the company.

To be the part of his second Qs.., since you all are confusing him let me give my advice.

Food 600

Mobile 250

Others 150

Defenetly he will be able to save 1500 from his basic salary only...!!!!

@ Yasir: 1800 for food is too much....dont expect him to going to joints three times a day............1000 for food will be a decent expense and 200QR for Phone...................1300 can be saved still excluding remittances................Yes if he involves in buying smart phones, clothing every month... he might need remittances other way .............Good luck buddy...............

Zafir, Spider & Yasir , There 'r so many tired & tested formulae which I 've shared in QL forums almost every week. Muna if you 'r really determined to save only then you would be able to do so. From Thursday eve till Sunday morning you need to be at a colleague / friend / relative / junior staff or a neighbours home , you need to take drastic measures to succeed in life ........ don't listen to those who themselves are working in Qatar & tell you to keep away indirectly with the excuse of your salary amount .... your bro , MM .. @muna: as you said for phone & Food you have to spent so for food m telling you the least price..

20 QarX3/Day X30=1800

so now see where you are....

MM always post either useless or misleading info... muna.. to answer your question.. it all depends on how much you spend... but dont expect to save too much... you will need at least 1000 for food... and i am sure you would want to go out once in a while.. or take a taxi.. so best case scenario I'd say you might be able to save around 1000 QAR... and again if you live very modestly... i guess it also depends on your quality of life whereever you are

The company website is either not existing or not activated. May be it is a new company. 2500 QR a month is not a salary that you will be able to save. Free accommodation here in Qatar generally means a bed space with other employees and shared kitchen and washroom. Free transportation in the company vehicle is ok. You must also check yearly paid vacation, return airline ticket from Qatar to your country. You will almost unable to get an NOC for changing your employer if you think that you will be able to change the employer. If you are a qualified person this is not a job for you. Good luck.

I am sorry to tell you that there is nothing left after food + allowances + remittances to family. Everything is so expensive in Qatar.
