The Customs staff at Doha International Airport apprehended a passenger who arrived from an Asian country with about one and a half kilo of marijuana concealed in a bag, local Arabic daily Al Sharq reported.

The acting director of Customs at the airport, Khalid Hamad al-Kaabi, said the smuggler was referred to the Narcotics Combating Department, from where the case is to be passed on to the Public Prosecution and the Criminal Court, the daily added.

The stupid person in reality, put a noose around his neck with his own hands. All praise to the Customs people for their watchful eye against such people who are out to destroy the lives of many just for their personal gains.
