
Four more airlines will operate from HIA

Four international airlines — Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines and Royal Jordanian — are expected to start operation from Hamad International Airport (HIA) from May 14.
The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a directive to these airlines in this regard, Al Sharq reports.
They will be joining the 10 budget airlines that started operation from the new airport following its soft launch on April 30.
The following airlines will be the only ones operating out of HIA ccording to their website - Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Iran Air, Air India Express, Yemenia Yemen Airlines, Pakistan International Airline, Nepal Airline, Syrian Airline and Pegasus Airline.
