The selling of animals in the Souk

I recently visited Doha with a view to moving there for work.  I was taken out by my new employers and one of the places we visited was the Souk.

I was horrified to see that animals were dyed different colours, presumably to make them more attractive to potential buyers.

Anyway, I shall be moving over permanently in a couple of weeks and one of the things I want to do in my spare time is to try to bring an end to this practice.
