It is unfortunately true; salaries do depend upon the nationality. If you are from West you will get more than any Asian - this is the dilemma and denying the fact will not help anyone. But as I see you have degree from West too, hope it may help you. 4 years experience is very little for expecting 20k for an Asian

I forgot to tell you that the company does every thing , it's the owner the consultant and the contractor so as architect you can work in head office or in technical office or in site

My friends ( Arabs) that were have bachelor degree 2010 , 2011 they got from 9000 to 15000 QAR depending on the company and every person and from my experience working in construction company is better that designing firm in salaries maybe i'm wrong , I worked as technical office engineer anyway now i have opportunity to join a reputable company here in Doha as Architect ( , feasibility study, design, shop drawing , everything ) the company is the owner and the consultant at the same time and i have the chance to join as planning engineer which i think this field have more opportunity now .

I have bachelor degree

I took courses in PMP , LEED ,Primavera

My past work as technical office engineer

how much should I ask for Architect

how much should I ask for Planning Engineer

and I need to know career future for every position

Thanks

We architects doesn't rely on Architecture alone. Architects are completive and flexible. It will not be compared by other professions like engineers and designers. It is totally a huge difference that a man can do anything is an ENGINEER. Engineers are the only ones who could do SPECIALIZATION in each scope. Architects can do anything, from architectural, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, even structural. I didn't that Engineers are the truthful ones. Yes they are, but not enough. They were just construction specialists. Architects are the authors and Engineers are the contributors.

Actually, nationality doesn't matter unless you are competitive and able to practice Architecture accurately. You must have a guts to reach that salary and not on depending on the CLASS you are in. If you think your not an AMERICAN or EUROPEAN, think again...ASIAN can do too.

Salaries vary depending on your nationality and experience level. 20K is good enough for you and if you are lucky enough.
