NOC in Qatar?
Hello everyone !
Please tell me as per qatar labour law under what circumstances an emplyoer must issue an NOC to its emplyees. In my case I have worked with my present employer for more than 2 years and its my second employer (I have group of friends with similar situation).
We had already worked in another company for 3 years before. So, if I apply for an NOC with my current employer are they supposed to issue one under the labour law.
I'd appriciate your comments and suggestions friends. Thanks in advance

What ever being the grounds, if you are locally hired against NOC, ask for release / NOC, you will get it with mutual consent, subject to your sponsor's
acceptance. Very rare cases NOC's are rejected due to complaints etc.,
as per Qatar Labour Law, the recruiter must return you to the place he recruited you. means you joined to his company from Doha he should return you to Doha. But still this clause cannot protect 100% because it is not clear yet. the best thing try to ask the Labour department. But if he terminated you due to redundancy, he will be obliged to give you NOC
