Hi all

I plan to go for Umrah from Qatar. My brother is in Riyadh. I want to join him in Riyadh and do Umrah together I want to go back to India directly from KSA. I will get Umrah visa from any travel agents. Visa. Here are my questions.

1. How can I go to Riyadh by Public Transport? Where should I get ticket and who are the service providers?

2. Will I be allowed to go to Riyadh with Umrah Visa? What if somebody check my passport in Riyadh?

3. Read somewhere that we have to enter and depart from Jeddah or Madinah if we are going by air. What if we go by road?

4. Can I board the bus which goes till Riyadh or should I board only in bus which goes to Makkah / Medinah / Jeddah?

4. Am I allowed to take flight from Riyadh Airport to India?

Hope somebody will clarify my doubts.

Thanks in Advance. Jazakallah Khair

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. Most travel agents do not deal in Umrah Visas. Hajj & Umrah agents do. However you can try Cozmo Travel telephone number 44073444 and they may help you in getting the visa.

2. The Umrah visa allows you to travel to just Makkah and Medina. If SAPTCO takes you from here to Riyadh and on another bus to Makkah then it is a different story. You will need to check with SAPTCO and their number is 44411322. If they do take you to Makkah via Riyadh make sure you do not move out of the bus station in Riyadh. You may fall into trouble.

3. Yes you need to enter and depart from Jeddah or Medinah if you go by air. If you go by road you cannot enter Riyadh or Jeddah or any other city.

4. Only SAPTCO can advise you on this but even if they are taking you to Makkah via Riyadh you will need to buy the ticket all the way to Makkah from here.

5. No, you will not be allowed to take a flight from Riyadh to India. You can only exit from Jeddah or Medinah.

Just get the Umrah visa from any umrah/ Hazz travel agency.

Go to Saptco bus company near Sana market. Justbask them when they have a bus which will go to Jeddah. If not u can go with them to any nearby place of Jeddah.

Then, u can get a taxi to reach to ur destination.

By this way u have to pay around 200 qr. Then from Jeddah u can make a ticket for India.
