Salary and Allowances

Take that offer..I have B.Tech + MBA with 6+ yrs o experience including GCC...but i got offer only after seracing job in 4 months time..that too aftr giving CV to more than 400 companies (Four hundred)..!!!

So don't throw that offer,since its your first job here in Qatar..After that you can demand more, once you get good experience.

luking at above comments,,,,,i agree with MM,,,,,he is a wise advisor,,,,,seems he holds some big position in any firm,,,,for me ,,,,,its a very gud offer and go ahead with it,,,,,,,,,,always remember 1 thing,,,,,,,,Engineer says it all,,,,dont compare engineer with any1,,,,,Engineer is quite unique with every aspect,,,,,,and b like 1,,,,,Same here :)

Sherin, You 'r right , That depends on how much patient a candidate can be ....... generally one becomes double minded while changing a job & finds it diffcult to wait for more choices & had to choose one ........

Dear Indian_2010,

One thing I learnt from working in Doha is to never accept a first offer. You have an engineering degree and 3 years of experience, so for that I believe you should be getting a salary atleast double what they are offering.

See if you can add a few extra thousands. If not, if you ask for an additonal 3000, they may give you only half. And aslo see if you can get other additional benifits - health, travel etc to add to your basic.

I suggest you consider it , accept the offer. Money is not everything , finding a job along side your hubby is to your advantage .

Measured from other job seekers asking advices at QL , it is wise to say yes & be content with what's in your hand ......
