Is it necessary to stay back 45 days untill getting the Credit Card settlement report?

A recent conversation with a bank pointed, the credit card settlement will take time upto 45days.

But..., the visa is ending in the very near future, the return ticket also had issued and there is no other liabilities with the bank. So is it require stay back in this country again 45days to get the CC clearance report??

Valuable comments welcome..

Thnx,

A friend of mine faced this situation last november with doha bank. He paid all the debts on the Credit card but he couldn't withdraw the rest of his salary cause he had to wait untill the clearance report is issued. and at the same time he couldn't wait 45 days to get his money cause he had to leave the country for good the next day..

So, i went with him to the bank, made me a procuration letter to allow me to recieve his money instead of him and he left the country the next day. and when the clearance report is issued i went to the bank recieved the money and the report and sent it to him.

So the bottom line here is that u can leave the country, but if u still have money at the bank or if u want to get the clearance letter u need to do procuration request letter to a trusted friend of yours to recieve them on your behalf..

Talk to the bank manager and show him your visa and return ticket. He may be able to guide you best.
