If you take the exit after Ikea (Umm Slal exit), take a left from the roundabout. Next roundabout left (there's a detour now though, follow the signs). First right entrance. There should be a baskin robbins on the opposite side to the store and Al-Bateel Bakery. It's called creature world or something like that, I forgot it's name :D Just look for baskin robbins, you will find it hopefully. Every once in a while they always have such gorgeous cats.

I wouldn't advise you to get cats from the souq they are usually all sick.. try other pet stores. My cat is a Norwegian forest and I got her from a store in Al-Khraitiyat.

You can never find one for adoption, but you can try looking in stores to buy one.
