Lost ipad..a long shot
It's a long shot, I know, but....
I left my ipad (18 months old, and well-used) in an Al MIllion Taxi this afternoon (it dropped me in Ain Khalid/Abu Hamour around 5pm). It's in a black foam case with green trim...
Al Million are not interested....(after I called NINE times and was automatically cut off, having waited on line, each time, for 3 minutes) the operator just told me I should call the switchboard in 48 hours...
It has some photos of sentimental value, so I will offer a reward for its return.
Can anyone help me to get it back?
Had you activated the find iPhone (iPad) feature on the ipad ? If yes, you will be able to trace it's present whereabouts if it's in use & in a wifi area. Also logon to itunes, with the same apple account, pwd. etc. & take their help to trace it. However you need a local police report too, I believe. If nothing works then too you may be able to factory reset it so that personal photos, data may not fall in the wrong hands.
