Molestation of a poor 4yrs KG girl at Bhavans public school ,Doha

By Dr.Mohammed Nazar

We as parents requested the Management of Bhavans Public school to send ladies conductors in the School buses and also to reduce the no.of students in each bus equal to its seating capacity. It is surprising to note that 45 students are being accomodated in 28 seated bus in addition to 4-5 teachers also. When we contacted the Principal ,what he said is that the Management is not ready to ply more bus in the route.Out of around 40 buses only less than half is owned by the school, rest are given on contract at a cheap rate. Hence the contract buses conditions ,timing are horrible.Inaddition to this now parents are much worried on the safety of kids.Even the molestation of a 4 yrs KG girl continously for one week in the first  week of November  the administration  not only didn't do any thing in time but also they are trying to wash there hand by telling one or other excuses. Also they havenot taken any steps to send ladies conductors compulsorly in  all buses  or to reduce the students strngth in each bus.

Hence I request for the address of authorities  who are capable of solving this issues on an urgent basis.

Yes Khadeeja, you are right that the school bus is over crowded.

Yesterday I went for the PTM and that time only I came to know that, the principal, who was the strong pillar of the school also left. Now I am also worried about my child.

oh so paining!

One my friends daughter is studying in that school and was telling the school bus use to be too over crowded and some time the conductors use to make the kids in their lap. That can be the main reason for such molestation.

It is so sad to know the management is not taking it seriously. They may be busy in making profit.

you may please contact the SEC along with other parents.Such schools are shame for the society. They are much interested making money by charging huge fees by admitting non eligible students, particularly not having QID. It is a shame ! shame!

Dear, this is a public school I believe is operated by your country representatives. So, you need to inform your consulate or embassy, and they know which local Qatar agency to coordinate with for proper action.

45 students being accomodated in 28 seated bus...now this is really too much...seriously action should be taken...i would suggest take the matter to SCE (SUPREMEN COUNCIL OF EDUCATION)...and make it in group or more number of families..Hope appropriate action is taken
