Pincode/PO Box Number in Qatar
Dear Experts,
I am a little confused with Pincode & PO Box Number.
I understand that there is no pincode in Qatar - Is that correct?
It seems one has to apply for his PO Box number - Is that the case for every individual?
How do I know the PO Box number of my society - I stay in Abu hamour? For example, if I apply on any online shopping site etc, pincode/po box number is mandatory, otherwise it does not accept the address.

I have received 50+ postcards, 10s of stuffs purchase online (international delivery), no extra charges..
You need PO BOx only to receive ( hence no point of extra charge).. using office PO Box is fine if you are at the same building.. if you are working in site not in HO then it would take more days (depends on your administration).
Qatar postal system does not deliver to homes, since ages they have been saying very soon they will deliver post to houses, how soon nobody knows.
To give office address is not a good idea as they will consider it as a commercial mail and charge you heavy duty based on the value of the goods. To get a P.O.Box number one has to apply in a Post Office.

I would agree with LLR that better to follow campany PO boxes not personal ones like in our countries but before 5-7 years qatar post office used to issue personal boxes to recieve documents but Iam not sure whether still it exist
You live in a compound or a separate home? As long as I know most of the businesses and owners have their PO Boxes.. More often I use my office address for delivery. You can also do that.
Avoid on-line shopping , there are frauds incidents ...........
