Steps to take?

Hello ...

I'm trying to read everything about the process to move to Qatar ... but I'm getting confused on what the actual steps are.

My husband will be going to Qatar in Jan to finalize the contract. So we would need to know what to do next ... We plan to relocate the Qatar (wife and 4kids) .... so once the contract is signed what should we do next?

I know we need to get some type of visa to enter Qatar, residency premit, housing, driver's license and schools ... but reading it seems you need one to get the other ... like without house you can't apply for residence premit, without residence premit you can't apply for schools ... I've read it's tricky to get kids into schools ... so what are the actual steps? Where can I find this information, please!

Thanks very much!

first business or visit visa to come here ...then housing, residency permit* (Duration roughly 1-2 months) then schooling plus Driving license (Duration 12 days - 35 days) then car

Your husband's HR department should take care of many of these issues.

It would be ok to get your kids into an Arab school but very difficult to get them into a European school.

First rule. Get Resident Permit first as you can't do any of the other things before that.
