Cinema Screens in Doha

This is for movie enthusiasts only. Does any of you know if Villaggio's cinema screen is one of the biggest in Middle East as claimed on Cinecomovies.com website?

I watched Skyfall on IMAX and didn't find it any bigger than it should've been. I have watched movies on gigantic IMAX Dome theaters in India and feel Doha IMAX should've been something of that sort.

Can any of you compare the Screen-1 of GrandCine Center to the biggest from Villaggio's Cineco?

I think I must consider watching some low profile movie at Royal Plaza just to see how it is...

Biggest and one of the biggest are different terms. Perhaps some cinema screen in Qatar qualifies to be among the biggest screens in this region. Any cinema screen that doesn't have a 70mm projection equipment is simply not big enough.

Compared to Grand CineCenter, are you certain that Royal Plaza's got a bigger screen? Any clue if it sports Dolby sound system?

Why is everybody obsessed with the biggest, the best etc. It devalues the experience, that is what it is about

No its not the biggest in the middle east..dubai has the biggest movie screen at Umm Al Quwain Al Maidan Cinema. Qatar is always delusional like how QBS radio is No. 1 in the world :p

Royal Plaza??????? Are you saying this from your experience or heard from somewhere?

Royal Plaza, The Mall and Landmark Cinema i think are ridiculous. I watched a movie at Landmark with Qtel discount and decided not to go there again even for free!
