emergency uk passport

Dear all,

I am supposed to be travelling tomorrow nite, going to europe for eid vacation, already booked my flights and accom but got my exit permit rejected this morning because there is damage to my passport. The main pages look fine but 1 or 2 are bit dog eared, does anyone know of the process for applying for emergency travel documents and how long it would take to get clearance to travel? Also what kind of reasons are required for getting emergency travel documents?
