Housing differences

Can anyone tell me the differences btwn apartments, compound villas, compound apartments and stand alone villas in Qatar? The advantages, disadvantages? And which one would better suited for a family of 6? And any other issues to consider when looking for housing? thanks!

The larger compounds will usually have small parks, but the smaller compounds rarely do. Virtually all will have a pool and and a gym. The high-rise apartments rarely have outdoor spaces for children, but there are more parks in the West Bay area. There are a number of public parks and playgrounds around the city of varying quality.
This is different based on budget and location.
You need to look for a stand alone villa out of Doha for a family of 6. Only a suggestion.
Oh yes; and i would like to also ask if these compound offer playgrounds for children? Or in general are there playgrounds to take the children to? t
Reading throu the property ads, I see very few compounds mentioning playground -- most mentions swimming pools and gyms.
And finally do all residences offer parking? Or only offered if it is mentioned in the ad? Thank you!
