Has anyone shopped online on Amazon and shipped it to Doha using Amazon shipping? What has your experience been? I know it is possible to do this using Aramex, but I would rather not involve a third party like Aramex if I can get it done through Amazon itself.
The aramex courier charges are coming to 50% of the product cost when I tried to order through Amazon. Bit on the higher side when we can get the same product in doha.. FedEx doesn't do online delivery through Amazon.

I have used Amazon shipping two times. Bed Sheets and office supplies and it may have took one day longer but no problems. But some items will not ship internationally using Amazon.
I had experience in using both. The first item was a toy for my kid. The item can be shipped international. My only qualm was that it arrived quite longer, but you get to track it accurately. Amazon used Fedex.
Then I made an account with Aramex (SnS). So far every purchase arrived ok.
What I'm saying is both methods are ok, it's just that the items you would like in Amazon (or any online shop for that matter) are limited in terms of International Shipping.

Is it cheaper to ship from Amazon directly ? or Aramex ?
Aramex is Qr 41 for first half pound and I think 30 for each half pound henceforth.
That would come to around Qr 160 / Kg ?
Hi
I'm using Amazon and aramex. Both. And amazon is great. But it's better you calculate the item price correctly. Like for example:
1-When purchasing the item on line there is state charge. (depending on which amazon u are using. Amazon uk, or amazon USA )
2-Also there is a charge on visa/ master ( for example 2 % )
3-Also check the weight, very important. It's 65 qr per kg.
After all this, SOMETIMES you find things in doha is same price.
But , there are things after all this, is cheaper to buy from AMAZON
