Car Rentals in Doha-Does any body know how much insurance companies charge for repairs if it is your fault?

I have rented a car from rent a car company and has minor damages. The rent a car company is charging QR 1500 for repairs stating that this is what most of insurance companies in Qatar Charge you even if vehicle is fully insured. Is this true? pl advise.

it depends if the company has full insurance for the car, if so, you only pay 1000 QAR for a police report and that's it...never drive a car without any insurance

Insurance deductible charges varies with different car rental companies as per their tie-up with the Insuranece companies. If its small scratches , its better to get a police report of Qr.10 /- and get it repaired outside ...

its usually written at the back of the paper you signed with the car-rental company.
