a quite complicated question

Hi all,

I have been back reading different posts regarding my situation but i guess mine is a bit different from them.

So here it is, I am holding a Qatar RP valid for a year (first year) I am now on my 8th month and by my contract, it states I'm on an indefinite period. By the time my RP expires I would not want to renew it and go back to UAE and work there... again. Basically it's a matter of bad employer experience here. And there is a possibility of non-issuance of an NOC. So resulting into deciding to go back to UAE to maintain a continuous source of income.

Here's my question.
1 - Once my Qatar RP expires, is it considered as automatically canceled? And does it mean my 2 year ban starts from the expiration date?
2 - Will I be able to obtain a Work Permit in UAE considering I have a ban here?
3 - Will I be able to visit Qatar again? And by which type of visa?

Thanks for your input regarding this matter. I just need to clear my mind on things before I proceed with my plan.

@erwin_b2i, thanks for your suggestion.

By the looks on how my company is currently, it's really a fail. And if doing so the thing that you suggested, looking for my replacement would be a total pain in the bottom. Considering this scene, where we are looking for people that's under me(in terms of position), applicants don't last a week. The reason, a badmouthing manager and lazy office mates passing their jobs to them(applicants).

i will give you other options instead of going back to UAE. Why not apply for other jobs/companies? If there's a new job package, then file a resignation letter and ask for NOC. If they will not give you NOC, then you have no choice but to leave Qatar. Atleast you tried!

Thank you so much that pretty much clears it.

What I would be most thinking of now is obtaining the exit permit. Might as well be asking for emergency leave from them.

Yes it would. get an exit permit from the sponsor. You can leave.

Wow thank you so much.

But i forgot to mention also, in case I will exit, say 2 months before expiration, on "vacation leave" and not come back, will my Qatar RP still be automatically cancelled?

1. Once you leave the company with an exit permit, the company automatically inform its MANDOOB to cancel it. However after you exit the country and your visa is expired, it automatically gets cancelled. Your ban then starts 2 years from the date of exit stamp in your passport.

2. QATAR ban has nothing to do with UAE WORK PERMIT.

3. Yes you can. Business visa / Tourist visa / family visit visa.
