Why is "Peace be upon him" said after every mention of the prophet Mohamed's name? It's distracting and it detracts from the message that I am trying to hear. I really want to learn but sometimes the language covers up the message. Is this really necessary?
Other than what Muslims always said this, I think its a matter of recognition and acknowledgment for all the hard work of the beloved prophet (PBH) who spent His life for making our hereafter better by showing the right path and introducing the Allah to the world. He doesn't need any thing from us however its our obligation due to all his love to us. May Allah fills our heart with His and His beloved prophet(PBH) love(unconditional). Ameen
