Hi all, I am moving to Qatar in August and hope to join either a rugby or cricket team. I would like to play at a social level. I have played both at Sunday league level. If anyone is a member of any clubs please get in touch.

Well i'm English and white, but don't care who I play rugby or cricket with as long as your not a West Indian fast bowler (as I couldn't hit you) or a New Zealand All Black as you'll squash me

Rugby here is played by mostly western folks at the Doha Rugby club and Cricket by mostly Asian folks in Car Parks and Brown fields. Cricket here is nothing like playing in a Sunday league or even playing Friendlies on a Green pitch in England.

Hay! I don't think cricket is being played at the 1st class level over here during the summer due to high temperature & humidity.
V play cricket (soft ball) with friends in back yard almost every evening during ramadan days, and thursdays and fridays during other summer months.
