I underwent this blood test and xray for visa extension...What do they check in this blood test??? is the same test repeated for RP or is it a different one??

Hi rosalieandoy.. i have similar situation for my mother-in-law who is in visit visa.. can you tell me whether the medical commission results will allow extension of visit visa?

U keep all the medical reports and xray film and they may call for additional checkups.

Just want to ask some info. and idea regarding the medical requirements for applying Family Visa in Qatar. Currently my husband is working in Mesaeed, he was planning to apply for a Family Visa for me and our daughter, but our worries are with regards to medical exam... i try a chest x-ray from a private clinic and the result was I have a “residual fibrosis at the right lobe”, my doctor said that is a permanent scar but not active. Is it possible that the Qatar government allow us to live in qatar? If not what are the possible i need to do for us to approve our Visa. Please help us... thanks.

U can go to medical commision.. better in the evening... they accept only card payment.. result u can check in SCH website with in 2-3 business days.. or u will receive an sms through metrash , if ur mobile number is registered.. hope this helps..

Ulirio, blood group test is nt required for family visit visa extention its required for residence family visa.

Its not blood group test but they take blood to check for various other diseases like Hepatitis B and HIV and yes it is needed and they do both blood and X-ray at medical commission.

Yeah both emy007 and zeegee84 replies were true....better go to Medical Commission to get the results asap! The earlier the better!

No need for appointment just go with ure wife after 3 days and before one month from her arrival to qatar to medical commission same one u went once u arrive to qatar. she should carry her passport visa copy and debit/credit card to pay 100 fee. she will give ure mobile number to the counter and in two days they will send u sms about her test, if the test is ok again take her passport visa copy and debit/credit card to immigration in gharrafa and u have to pay 200qr for evry month extention.

no need to my friend just go to the medical commission near to waqood petrol station close to the industrial area and abu hamour, QR 100 riyal will be charged to get the medical done go early in the morning to get rid of all the hassels.

After completing the medical wait for 2 or 3 days and you will receive a msg on your phone about the report although you can also check it through the internet.

Then go to immigration office and get extended your wife visa with the application form.

Remember you have to pay 200 for visa extension per month for single entry and it can be extended upto 5 more months and the mode of payment is through card only.
