I am also new to Qatar, as my opinion, Currently Qatar is lack of Entertainment for Middle class community, but it is trying to facilitate to all the peoples (Qatari Nationalities & Others), But for me Qatar is a good place to earn and get good experience, bit not yet to get entertainment.

Since "Qatar is Growing" but I hope Qatar will be a great country in the region, in the near future.

Going on malls alone is not advisable specially during Family Day or Friday, it's a must! In my own opinion, Qatar is a very good place comparing to other mid-east countries, you can easily adopt to the environment, the food, the place and the people. Better try now!

Single brown men are not allowed in some malls at the weekend under the auspicies of 'family day'. This also goes for the corniche and the popular souq waqif.

Make sure you bring a woman with you or prefrably make sure you are white or wearing a thobe if you want to enter those places.
