QIB is horrible!!!!
I thought i share a rant with you all.
I applied twice for a visa classic card with QIB. each time when i ask them where is my card they do know where my application is. in 2012 i applied for a visa for the first time. when asked about the card a month later after applying they said application hadn't been processed. then after that i just said forget. so last month i decided to apply again because i was traveling and needed to purchase large items. so i applied again. i just came from the bank today and my application not processed and they didn't know where it was. i told the one of the ladies there when i went there last month that i was traveling on the 9th of july. she said it would definitely be ready by then. i had to push my ticket back to the 20th and it was a good thing i did because it is still not ready.
What kind of a bank is this? seriously? i want to go to another bank but my job forces us to use QIB for salary transfer.
Dear Sir/Madame, A week ago I have called QIB Call Center requesting some information on QIB Currency converter tool as the existing tool on the Internet / QIB website is not working. The Call Center have logged my call and transferred the issue to QIB Quality Assurance Department. Second day a representative from QIB Quality Assurance department has called me back to get more details about the issue and he has promised to call me the next day with the solution of the issue. I have explained the urgency of the issue and that I need to know QIB currency exchange rate ASAP, but unfortunately It has been more than a week today and still NO ONE from QIB has returned back my call neither I have received any feedback from QIB. What kind of poor service is this, there is no honesty neither trust banking with QIB, the only thing it shows is that customers has no value to QIB. Please provide me with QIB senior management contacts to escalate this issue. It will be much better to start banking with Al Rayan bank. You people have no trust in banking with.

i never applied for a visa card, but still, the commercial bank issued me a platinum and diner card, and phoned me to come and pick it up! i said no! i don't want them.
a year later (august 2011), they sent them with a guy to my adress!
they're still in their enveloppe. alongside the ATM card, and the e-banking card. never asked for any of them.

mashreq is another worst bank, applied for ATM 3 times they dont know where is my application, and when I enquired in customer center they instructed to complain against the branch,,, strange,,,
I agree their services are horrible. i had a similar problem, i got so annoyed with them that I finally decided to change to another bank.
my branch is salwa road.
exactly they don't know what they are doing. and to top it all off. my friend recently got a gold card from them and they spelled her name wrong and she had to go back to the bank to be re issued a new. seriously how do these people even have a job.
I applied once.. the after 3 days the card is ready for pick up. which branch did you go?
The Commercial Bank isn't any better. Applied for a new ATM card twice. Still don't have it. They don't know what they're doing. Expect Amazing!
