Can resident permit be issued with the visit visa?
By rocky_qatar •
Hi,
My resident permit had expired on Jan 25th 2012. I am 22 yrs old and done with my college. I have come to Qatar on visit visa. Can I be issued with the resident permit by showing my visit visa under the sponsorship of my father?
If so what is the procedure for it?
Thank You
The maximum age is 21 for a (son) dependent. IMHO
You cannot get sponsorship from your father as you have crossed that age,
you can have an RP from the sponsorship of any QATARI, not from your father. Just Apply for a permenant visa , after it approved just quit the country and come back.

No, a 22 year old male cannot be sponsored by his father for an RP.
Check it with your father and he knows what is best for you...good luck and cheers....
