yes, extended warranty costs money but its peanuts compared to what you have to pay otherwise..besides its not a huge amount

according to my own research of local car market, all car prices fall equally if you look at the overall percentage and not just the cost in QR..obviously 10% of 200,000 would be more than 10% of 50,000..so more expensive vehicle means more loss in QR but same percentage..you are not investing in gold so don't expect a profit in the end :)

also, you have to take into account the insurance of the car as it is going to be more for a more expensive vehicle if you are getting a comprehensive insurance

drive a bmw/merc and then drive a toyota/honda/nissan and you will know where the extra money goes ;)

obviously nothing is free; extended warranty or insurance needs extra money.

I had a bimmer and it cost me nothing but fuel and tyres..had the BMW ultimate service package which literally took care of everything from oil, filter, plugs, break, etc etc..

buy new or get one which still has warranty + service package..after initial three years you can extend it up to a maximum of 6 years in total..previously it was not possible to extend service package for E60 M5 but now you can with the F10 M5

Driving a BMW is like dating a hot woman that is high maintenance... The type of chick that won't dig dining at Biryani corner..

You can always settle for the chubby Toyota or the hairy Honda or even the smelly Kia. However, just cause you can't afford the red head nurse looking busty BMW, don't convince yourself that it is just another car that does the same job...

Buy a toyota corolla and forget about maintenance :)

If you cud afford to buy a BMW, then let your company pays for maintenance.

Even a BMW is just a car! Why so much fuzz about it. It's not a woman! They are more expensive, trust me.

I agree with you on that, those cars are a pain to deal with, unless your making 100,000qr a month go for it.other wise stick with a Toyota or Japanese car.

I had a BMW 730Li. I sold it because of the maintainance. Too costly.
