Need help finding accomodation

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking for a one bedroom flat for a reasonable price on Qatar Living, but have not had any luck so far. Either the people who place the ad. want half months commission!!! or the apartments I've been to see are either in poor condition or just too unsafe to live in, for example the rooms have no windows, or the kitchen and bathroom have no windows!

What's worse is people are placing ads and stating only Indians or Pilipino!

I'm a British Asian looking for a half decent place to call home whilst I'm out here working in Qatar. Unfortunately my company do not provide accommodation. So if there is anyone out there who understands where I'm coming from, and may know of a place for rent in their apartment or villa (that's not more than 4,500QR); please, please give me a shout.

PS: I cannot share as my wife will be coming over to join me.

Thanks for reading.

I visited Ezdan today and found it quite good value for money compared to the carnage in Doha. Good Luck.

If wakra isn't too far from your place of work, then try Ezdan's they have 1 bedroom for 3500, 2 b/r 5500, 3 b/r 6500 4 b/r villa 9500 fully furnished plus they normally give 6 months free. Don't go through agents just go directly to the compounds they are so many so you can choose. All the best.

it's Filipinos, not Pilipino. Filipino pertains to person while the latter pertains to language or dialect.
