the reason that i don't want to have the academic course is that there are some differences between academic and general

in the reading and the writing exam as i guess

so it won't be helpful for me to lose 50% of the course in something that i won't use

The IELTS academic 1 is the harder 1 of the 2. So, if you get IELTS academic course and follow it well, you will surely be able to score 7 points for general.

And the british council course has, 2 levels, lower intermediate and upper intermediate. If you are good in English, you will be selected for the upper intermediate course, next course 1 is going to be start on 24th of July. I am also willing to get it.
