i got a violation last August 2009 using a Al Shaqab rent a car. when i return that car on the rent a car i pay 500 QR for my violation. after one week i go back to rent a car to get my original passport. yesterday i go to police traffic division to get a new driving licence, they told me i need to pay my violation last 2009 amount og 500 Qr. that's why i go urgently to al shaqab rent a car, my problem now is that company under by new management. my question is if I have a chance to get back my 500QR that i pay last 2009 even i dont have a receipt.

I checked already, its same reference number of traffic violation. my DL & car number its same.

I don't have now a receipt from company. when i checked again yesterday the car number, they have lot of violation & the registration is expired since 2010. its means the company don't have any plan to pay the violation. plate number 344727

If the policeman had taken your DL and gave you a sticker that means the fine was on your DL. Why did you pay 500 riyals to the Rent a Car without checking the fine properly. Do you have a receipt from Rent A Car?

How did they (Traffic Dept)charge you? How did they find out it was you who was driving that car? If you are driving a car not belongs to you the fine will be on the number plate and not on the driver so how did they charge you the fine? BTW, do you have the receipt for that 500 Riyals given to the Rent a Car Company?

Your chances are very slim for a refund, as you don't possess a receipt as proof of your payment
