Your wife needs to go and do finger printing. For your child I am not sure but maybe they need to go also except for the baby.

Not true. My kid in under 18 and had to go for fingerprinting.

Only above 18 yrs old to qualified for finger printing & above 12 yrs old need medical.

Fingerprinting is mandatory for everyone in order to get your resident card or family visa but in case of family visit visa only medicals are required.
