find qataris places and people

Hi, I live in paris, and I would like to discover new places with a middle east atmosphere or especially a qatari's one.
In a month I'm going to be in Manchester where I would like to find the same kind of activities.
I know the best to find such things would be to go in Qatar but this only a matter of time :)
I would be glad if somebody helps.
