Anyone came to Doha on Tourist VISA, pls respond
to the below question:

Any person coming on Tourist VISA At Doha airport do they ask to show QR. 5000 or so?? is it necessary to show..??

Please answer guys..!!

If u are taking Qatar airways, it may be ok. At Immigration here in Doha, the officers may not ask.But if are taking some other flight such as Emirates or Gulfair, at the transfer airport( eg:Dubai) they will ask for QR 5000, and hotel booking.

I had come on tourist visa and immigration athourities did ask if I had cash QR5000. As I was taking it from my bag, they told , its fine, and asked me to move on.. However, when i was boarding the flight from Sharjah Airport, they verified that I had cash in hand...

IF we are not able to show them QR. 5000 what will they do ??

some are saying YES and some are saying NO.

I want to know from someone who has travelled on TOURIST VISA TO DOHA AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME>

If you are coming on tourist visa, yes you have to show 5000 QAR to Immigration.
